Her family played a big part in this beautiful town of Lexington, including 2 Mayors, grocery store, jewelry store, restaurants, kindergarten, and the list goes on! Her heart, and her roots are right here in this amazing town, which is why opening a salon here, in Lexington, is so special to her, and is the reason for the name, Salon RUTZ. Aly specializes in intricate updos, dimension foiling, corrective color, and razor cutting. She is extensively trained in KEUNE and AVEDA color lines, and continues to endlessly educate herself, due to her drive and passion for this industry. Also trained in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment, Aly is ready for anything you throw at her. ​ Over the years, Aly's stunning updos and creative event hair, have won her several awards. Back in 2003, two of her creations were featured in the ever popular INSPIRE hair books that you can find inside salons all over the country! She has also been interviewed and featured in several magazines, such as Columbia Living and Lexington Life to name a few. Aly even wrote an article on finding your style entitled "Hair 101" on Lexingtonanchor.com, which is an online magazine. Her reputation is undeniable!
