Hi I'm Amanda and hair and makeup is my passion!
But to be honest, it hasn't always been my passion. In 2010, I graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelors degree in Communications with every intention of joining the corporate world. God sure did have other plans for me! While in school, I received an opportunity to join an apprenticeship program at Salon Elite in Newport News, Va. Through months of hard work completing my college education and attaining my cosmetology license, I gained valuable learning experiences from master stylists and salon educators.

I enjoy displaying my creativity not only in precision cuts, but also in color techniques allowing me to thrive in this industry with my hands, my head and my heart. It has been nine years since I joined this extraordinary industry. Over this period of time, I've learned that my other passion is people. I love knowing what makes people who they are, what they care about, their life experiences... I really enjoy the relationships and bonds I have with my clients.

I have an eye for fashion forward styles that are suitable for your unique life. I'm an effective communicator and listener. I ask questions: I genuinely want to know about you, your lifestyle and your goals for style. I consistently demonstrate my talent to exceed my clients' expectations. By the grace of God, I have become more successful than I ever dreamed possible and it is my joy to share my success with my clients and give them styles that make them feel amazing!
