An artist at heart, Cat was born to work with hair. She has been inspired her entire life to create all things beautiful and her professional experience in the entertainment, music, art and beauty industries has given her an edge in achieving personalized experiences for each guest of the studio.

With over a decade of training in the art and hair industries, she has merged her talents into Kirkwood Studios. Using strong technique from years of education and an inherent artistic eye, Cat is able to bring to fruition her vision for each guest. Specializing in all color and hand painting, best known as Balayage, and hand shaping hair.

Graduating in the advanced Phase 2 program at Paul Mitchell The School, Cat is constantly continuing her education staying up to date with all hair and art trends. Staying involved with the Austin community is also important to Cat and she often participates with local organizations like ACL Fest and SXSW, various charities and art and beauty industry events.
