     ✨A little history about me as a stylist✨

 I have always been very creative and passionate about hair. At a young age of 13, I knew I wanted to do hair. I dropped out of school in 10th grade, and then obtained my GED at 16. Even in the midst of difficult circumstances, I decided to pursue my career immediately by enrolling at Gene Juarez hair academy at 17. being the youngestvyo enrol in 1990z Coloring hair was my focus throughout those years. i became a mother to 3 beautiful  children and took a decade break while life was lifeing. 

In 2014 i went back to cosmetology and graduated from Evergreen Beauty School. i took with me the essential techniques such as the Vidal Sasson cutting technique, high end fading technique, updated colored methods, color lines  and basic barbering technique. Upon graduation I managed a fast-paced cutting salon with multiple employees. I have trained many new stylists in this industry throughout the years to become confident in their own abilities and careers as cosmetologists. I continuously fixed hundreds upon hundreds of botched haircuts throughout my career and am relied upon as the "go to" stylists for those that have had botched haircuts and salon "trauma" 

During the pandemic of covid19, i had gone thtough the loss of my sister and decoded it woyod be best for me to find a 1 on 1 suite where i felt safe.  This is how myHairapy began

 It is important to me that each client is comfortable in my chair. And confident with my abilities as a stylist. I am aware that personally finding the right stylist can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Many nervous first time clients in my chair immediately ferl tje instant care and comfort in the energy of myHairapy. Each person truly matters to me. And I hope you genuinely experience that in my chair. 

i offer men's shear cuts, fades, military fades, beard trims, camo colors and men's highlights is my expertise. Having done well over 30k in men's cuts, I am highly skilled in men's hair. Helping them achieve the confidence in their appearance that they desire .

I am also very skilled in women's cuts, blowouts, styles, colors, fashion colors, foilayge, foils, highlights, and creativity. Offering hair feathers, and tinsel too. I am confident in my ability to please even the pickiest of clients, and help those who are unsure of what they desire.

Having been born in the mid 70s, I have a deep admiration for that generation and its decor.  From the hot rod cars, to the fashion and style, uplifting energy, and over-all- simplicity of that generation, I have attempted to incorporate the 70's into the salon with my own personal touch. With a mid century decor that sets the tone, you will find eye appealing comfort and a nostalgic essence around you. 

I am also spiritually empathic, energy transmuter, life coach,head massage certified and spiritually intuitive. iThis makes for an enriching hair experience at myHAIRapy.
