Ellie | Ellie EM Hair Studio

I have been going to Ellie Martin to get my highlights for 5 years. I used to overpay at the very expensive salon on West Street but I was not getting the color that I wanted. I finally left the expensive salon and tried 4 different salons in the area with mediocre results. I found Ellie by fate one day when I booked my daughter for a haircut and I am so lucky I did! I had just gotten another poor highlight done and I was so disappointed and frustrated. While we were waiting for my daughters appointment I heard Ellie talking to her client and really listening and giving her client wonderful color advice…it was clear that she was an expert colorist as well as professional and personable. I booked an appointment with Ellie that day and I have never looked back! Ellie listened to what I wanted and got my hair to the perfect shade of blonde! Not only does Ellie do an incredible job on my color but my cut is fabulous! I get tons of compliments on my color and cut and I refer anyone who will listen to Ellie! My daughter continues to see Ellie for her haircuts and she recently started to get her hair highlighted by Ellie as well. We love our Ellie!!

I have been seeing Ellie for years and she never disappoints!! I drive from Centreville on the Eastern Shore and would drive farther if she were to leave (I will follow you wherever you go Ellie lol). My cut is always perfect and I am very picky. I never want to lose any length and she’s always able to give me great style without sacrificing my length. She’s also the only stylist who’s ever been able to get my color right!! On top of this, she truly has one of the best personalities ever. We always laugh and have a great time. It’s always a treat! Thank you Ellie!!
