Green Salon | De’Ann Ennis
Hair and style have always been lifelong passions of mine, which led me to choose hairstyling as a profession. I love working with clients and trying to help them achieve their best possible look. I've been a cosmetologist for over 20 years and have undergone extensive training with the leading academies in the field, including Vidal Sassoon in London, Toronto, and the US, and Toni & Guy in both Toronto and the US. I've received additional training through American Crew, Graham Webb, Goldwell, Wella, All Nutrient and other various schools. Nature is influential for me in terms of cut and color. Right now, I'm working with colors inspired by nature that blend together for a cool, lived-in look. I'm also influenced by architecture and Japanese and European fashion magazines; I enjoy traveling to new places in search of fresh, complimentary looks that I can incorporate into my own techniques. I believe we're always evolving as people and that personal style can be reflective of that. Change needn't be drastic- something as simple as a color placement, texturizing or tweaking bangs can impact and improve your appearance and make a difference in your outlook as well. I try to be a good listener; I'm always open to the suggestions of my clients, and am happy to offer my own ideas! I've been in Houston for thirteen years now and love it! I am very proud of The Studio 18 and feel very fortunate to be a part of Houston's growing trend toward a more natural approach to hair. My hobbies include hair, of course! I also enjoy travel, style and design and many outdoor activities. I also love spending time with family and friends!
