HISAE decided to moved to New York City after working as a hairstylist for 6 years in Osaka and Kyoto, Japan, where she is originally from. Since relocation, she has worked at a multiple hair salons in Manhattan serving a diverse, wide-range of clients in New York for nearly 10 years. In 2023, HISAE founded STUDIO 02 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
