Jaci Herrera has been making people look and feel fabulous in the Chicagoland area for over thirty years. With a solid list of loyal and happy clients, she enthusiastically opened her own salon in early 2016. Specializing in both cuts and color, Jaci always sends her clients—women, men, and even children—out the door feeling great! While situated in the small town of Park Ridge, conveniently located for both suburban and city clients right next to O’Hare, the Metra, the “L” and both 90 and 294, don’t be fooled by the small town friendliness and prices—she offers both traditional and edgy styles for short, long, straight and curly hair. Jaci stays “cutting” edge by taking specialty courses with and from the pros in New York City, such as Arrojo, Bumble & Bumble and Wella. She has been formally trained in “beach wave perms,” razor cuts, up-dos, styling for photo shoots and runway, among others. Ippolitos of Chicago is where Jaci started her training nearly thirty years ago and graduated with a degree in Cosmetology, which includes hair, makeup, nails and skin care. She also studied at Aveda in Minneapolis. She worked for fourteen years at the well-known Michael Anthony Salon, another five at the Red Seven Salon and finished at the Karen Marie Salon—all in Chicago—before venturing out on her own. Evie hair studio uses all paraben- and sulfate-free products, with no chemicals, wanting only the best for your hair. Jaci has flexible salon hours for your regular cuts and colors, as well as for those special days such as weddings, senior pictures, photo shoots and even your most formal or hip event. And, if you are really lucky, she will even go offsite for you, but book her in advance, as she is that in demand.
