Jeanette Lopez is a haircut and extension specialist. She graduated form Paul Mithcell the School in San Diego, CA . She then began developing her career at Gila Rut in Otay Ranch, CA and became a Senior Art Director. After much thought she decided to take a risk and open her own studio Salon Yaakun inside of Sola Salons.

Her education has been able to get her this far. Working with the best of the best in AVEDA, Tony and Guy, CHI, and Kevin Murphy Jeanette has been able to perfect her cutting skills. She has also trained with Great Lengths, Dream Catchers, and Hot Heads in order to expand her knowledge of extensions. 

Jeanette has brought her years of experience and knowledge to her Studio, Salon Yaakun. The name means “to love” in mayan. When Jeanette was a young girl her grandmother would teach her the few words she knew and mayan. Wanting to keep the Salon name close to home and show her passion for hair Salon Yaakun was born.
