Jenni’s journey in the beauty industry began when Jenni was just 4 years old in Central New
Jersey. Jenni would see the cover of a magazine lying around, featuring “…such a pretty lady with
pretty eyeshadow and eyelashes!”, and “…lips that are so pretty!”. She would marvel over the beauty
of these faces so much that she would find a dressing table or bathroom counter with makeup on it
and begin duplicating these looks on herself, using the page as a reference. Once, when she was 9,
Jenni, who by now had been practicing these “duplications” often, was doing her usual thing on her
face, when she caught the eye of her dad. Upon seeing makeup applied to Jenni’s face so flawlessly,
he frantically ran around the house, searching for the “intruder” who had put makeup on his
daughter’s face without his knowledge! Surely, he thought, she could not have done that to herself!
This passion stayed with Jenni, and she spent many years working in department stores in
various positions selling and demonstrating for various prestige skincare and makeup brands like
Lancome, Prescriptives, and Estee Lauder. Because of her ethic, aptitude, and understanding of
how to make people feel good about themselves, she eventually earned promotions to the positions
of master Custom Blended Foundation corporate trainer, and national makeup artist. In addition,
Jenni worked with professional photographers doing hair and makeup for head shot portraits,
editorials, and ads in Philadephia, NYC, and Las Vegas.
Desiring further advancement in her career in the beauty industry, Jenni earned her
Cosmetology license. A few salons later, Jenni now owns and operates her own salon as a beauty
practitioner here in Glendale, AZ. Jenni’s skin expertise is “troubleshooting” services, such as antiaging, acne, pigmentation, texture, inflammatory conditions, and post-procedure services. Jenni’s
hair expertise is color corrections, color restoration, custom color, multidimensional color, as well
as a wide range of haircuts and texture services on all humans. Jenni’s practice is open to all skins,
all hair and all walks of life. It DOES help if you have a sense of humor and like to have fun.
Oh, and she still does makeup.
After many years in the industry and wanting to more effectively utilize her transferable skills
from retail management, business operations, growth, and development, as well as corporate
training, Jenni eventually earned her instructor license and has been actively teaching for 14 years.
Jenni has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. She focuses on customized skin and
hair services for each and every individual and skin and hair texture.
Jenni says her passion for the beauty industry and her ethic have been perpetually fueled by
her gratitude for all the wonderful people, mentors, students, and clients in her life who continue to
give her purpose by showing her the close relationships, and results of her work every day.
