Julia Golden | Marbella Salon
I'm a people person, and my time in the salon is quality time. I enjoy doing hair and love to laugh. I have a good sense of humor-it keeps me young. I enjoy establishing a relationship with my clients, and strive to give them the look they desire. I love all kinds of music, especially Latin, pop, disco, and the latest hits. My hobbies include running, painting, dancing, traveling, and keeping in touch with good friends. I'm fluent in Spanish. I grew up in Panama City, Panama, and earned my cosmetology license in 1997, graduating from an intensive course of study and hands-on training at the Pivot Point Academy in Savannah, Georgia. Moving to Virginia in 2000, I worked as a hair stylist at Dillard’s Salon in Norfolk and Lorraine’s SpaSalon in Newport News before becoming self-employed in 2010. I believe it is important to stay current with new technology and continue to learn as a hair stylist. I have taken advantage of many educational and training opportunities to include Keratin Complex Smoothing System, Beverly Hills Academy hair-cutting techniques, and Aveda Concept Training. My favorite products are Schwarzkopf Color, Pureology, Surface, and Keratin Complex. Thank you, Sola Salon Studios at Jefferson Commons, for giving me the opportunity to create my own environment and embrace my artistic inspiration. I’m happy to be part of the Sola Salons community!
