My name is Krista Schuette. I've been in the beauty industry for 13 years. This all started for me at a very young age. I knew by the age of 6 years old, hiding under the kitchen table with my sisters barbie in one hand and a kitchen shears in the other, that this was it for me. Jumping head first into the industry I receptioned my way through high school at a salon until blazing my way through cosmetology school. With a brand new license I started working full time in Regis Salons often finding myself in the districts top 10 to top 3 performers. For ten years I worked there building my skill set and clientele. Along with hair, cosmetics have always been a calling for me. I worked with Sephora upon their opening and went on to work for M.A.C. Cosmetics as a freelance makeup artist. I specialize in the toning and maintenance of blondes however, I do not discriminate! I love getting my hands into any hair. I am very comfortable with textured, dry, colored, thinning, thick hair and anything between! I am very passionate about my career and the technicalities of it. As a way to share this passion of mine, I started educating. Recently, I began instructing cosmetology with Fox Valley Technical College. I love to feel inspired and I am always up for a challenge. There is no look too meek or wild for me. It is my pleasure, whatever look you should so choose, that within 40 VOLUME's standard you always feel so uniquely and irrevocably you.
