I started doing hair in the kitchen when I was in high school and discovered my love for this industry. After completing my Associates in Science at Richard Bland, I attended Colonial Heights Beauty Academy where I received my Cosmetology license.

I have worked in several salons over the years on commission. With my last job being Gabe's Barber Shop, where I have been for the past 10 years. I am very thankful for the time I spent there growing as a stylist.

I have always wanted to own my own business and in September of 2015, I met Shay Jones who introduced me to Sola and how close I was to my dream come true. I never thought it would be possible to get to this point but though love, support, encouragement, prayer and faith, God has brought me to this wonderful place and showed me His grace.

So with all that said I am excited to open my own salon, Shear Grace! I would also like to send a special thanks to my amazing husband for his support in this life changing step. And also to all the friends and family for their encouragement and prayers.
