Have you ever felt like you were just cursed with bad hair and just decided to live with it? That’s how I felt for the first half of my life, until I landed in an industry where I could prove to women that your outer beauty can match your inner beauty.

Born and raised in western New York, I entered the hair business in 2003, naively imagining I would do pretty hair and meet some nice people along the way. I didn’t realize I would transform women’s lives and the way they see themselves. This is why I do hair. I am all too familiar with the feeling of settling for the hair you have, wondering if the next cut is going to make it better or worse. My mission is to prove that you do not have bad hair, just the wrong style.

During my early years as a hairstylist, I’d reflect on all the traumatic hair experiences of my own. I knew the most important thing I could do is LISTEN to my guest. After many years behind the chair, I have become an expert at interpreting the look my guest is going for and teaching them how to easily replicate it at home so they can get back to what matters most.

Outside of the salon, I enjoy being active and practicing a healthy lifestyle. I’m a sucker for self improvement books and functional health podcasts. In 2012, newly married, my husband and I decided to start a new chapter of our lives in Myrtle Beach. In 2014, we welcomed our first baby girl and in 2016, our second. My daughters, Remy and Harley, are constantly training and testing me to be the best version of me I am capable of. They have no idea that they are my best teachers. Although it’s not always pretty, I refuse to fail them.

I thoroughly believe that a woman is of little help to others if she is not taken care of first, so let’s start with the hair. My current clients will tell you that each haircut and color is customized to them while supporting a natural and easy-going expression. Together, we find the perfect balance of style, ease and practicality to maintain a busy, wealthy life. I understand that hair is not the most important thing in life, but some days it ranks right up there with managing a home and spending quality time with family.
