Hi ! Mark here, I’ve been a stylist for 19 years and I still love what I do. I specialize in blonding, color corrections, and styling. If you have an event to attend I’m your guy to get you red carpet ready, if it’s a night out with the girls or a special date night out on the town.
I started my career at Fusion International Day Spa where I learned how to work with hair extensions and curly texture. I believe education is key to keep my love of hair alive. I love attending classes and shows to learn new tricks I can take back and share with my clients in the salon.
Halfway through my career I moved to Kentucky where I did hair for 7 years in Pikeville. While there I would attend the Nashville hair show every year to keep up on the latest trends. Now back home in Mi after a few years I’m finally opening my own salon, none of this would have been possible if I didn’t get clean from drugs and alcohol almost 1 year ago. Becoming clean saved my life and I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way. Dreams really do come true, so I welcome you all to my salon Southern Roots. We do recovery ❤️
