With 40 years of experience, hairdressing has always been a passion that lives within me with a goal to create workable, wearable styles that fit every day or special occasion. I am proficient in foil placement, obres, balayage and color melting to best suit every skin tone. Every year, I take two to three continuing education courses to further improve my skill set which has included Oligo master color class, keratin blow-outs and straightening treatments.

I began my career at John’s Creative School of Cosmetology and from there, continued my education in aesthetics, nail design and hairdressing. I worked as an educator for ABBA, specializing in volumetrics which is a technique that provides hairstyles based on head and neck shape to compliment each and every individual.

I have previous experience with co-owning a salon and have worked for other salons both as a hairstylist as well as management positions.

As a small child, my mother and her friends would always struggle with their hairstyles and I knew at that early time of my life, that it was my calling to spread my knowledge and creativity.

At this time in my life and with years of experience in various positions, my goal is to be my own boss and offer services that make each and every client feel special and beautiful by the time they leave my salon, “Styled by MaryBeth”.
