Mel became interested in the hair industry while working on a Bachelor of Fine Arts in college. He specializes in cutting and hair color. With his impeccable attention to detail, Mel enjoys working with clients to deliver styles for their individual needs. A master of his craft, in 1998 he was certified with the American Board of Certified Haircolorists and has worked as a Color Educator for several color lines.
