With 39 years and counting, Mike brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Chroma Studio Salon having worked as an Educator, Color Specialist and Stylist in Tucson and San Francisco. A Native of Tucson, Mike worked for 17 years in San Francisco’s top salons as both Color Director and Lead Educator at Saks Fifth Avenue Salon and Cinta Salon. He Traveled for many years as an Educator and Platform Artist with Matrix, and Logics Inc. teaching trending color, cuts, styling and product knowledge as well as training independent educators. He returned to Tucson where he taught and managed Cosmetology programs training educators as well as young aspiring stylists. Clean Color, flattering styles that complement the face and excellent customer service are the primary focus. Natural highlights as well as popping special effect colors. Vibrant Reds. Clean/Clear Blondes and believable Grey Coverage. Color correction for women and men is a specialty. Clipper cutting and barber work for men and women is also welcomed. Mike is also a professional musician working in regional theatre and education as a pianist/conductor, musical director, flutist and vocal coach. It seemed logical that the next step was to open his own Salon Studio to keep guests feeling safe and confident getting their hair done in a responsible and calm setting.
