Tanya Pugh has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2003,  her passion for the beauty industry began much earlier. At just 13 years old, she started her journey as a shampoo girl under the mentorship at Shar Gree’, in Homewood, under the owner Sharon Green where she honed her skills and developed a deep love for her craft. Over the past 21 years, Tanya has not only mastered the art of cosmetology but has also made significant contributions to the industry through her roles as an educator and business owner.

In 2013, Tanya expanded her impact by becoming an educator at Empire Beauty School. For more than six years, she dedicated herself to teaching and mentoring hundreds of aspiring stylists, providing them with the technical skills, confidence, and guidance to succeed in the beauty industry. Her influence as a mentor and educator has helped shape the careers of many young professionals, ensuring that the next generation of stylists continues to thrive.
