Tehya’s dreams started coming true when she realized the opportunities for making art out of hair were endless! In 2016, she started her journey at The Salon Professional Academy in Appleton, WI, winner of a Vidal Sassoon Beauty Changes Lives National Scholarship. During her time at school, she went on to be a TSPA NAHA finalist in the Contemporary Classic Category. She has recently dedicated herself to opening her very own studio “Fuel 410” in Appleton, with her own unique personality and style. It is in her studio that she feels most at home and is constantly inspired to create new things!

Tehya specializes in creative color, balayage, and other freehand coloring techniques, but she is always learning, experimenting and growing in her artistry. She lives for a challenge and dares to try new techniques!

Tehya does all of her own photography, videography and marketing for her business.

When Tehya isn’t indulging in her passion for the hair industry, she unwinds by being somewhat of a couch potato! She loves the simplicity of being curled up at home, binge watching old and forgotten tv show from the 90’s, enjoying unhealthy snacks to herself!
