With over 12 years of experience in Hair design, Verlyn has worked in the beauty industry where she enjoys working with clients to enhance their looks by making them look and feel great.

Verlyn knew from an early age growing up in St. Thomas, USVI, when she started braiding the neighborhood kid’s hair, that she had a passion for styling hair.  Verlyn took Cosmetology in High School where she learned the science and art of Cosmetology.  Verlyn then moved to Los Angeles in the 90’s and started college to pursue a career in Business Administration and soon realized in her heart she wanted to be a great hair stylist.  Verlyn then enrolled in a Cosmetology school and became a License Cosmetologist in 1998.  Her dream was to work at Vidal Sassoon in Beverly Hills, CA.   Three years later, Verlyn started to work 2 doors down from Vidal Sassoon at Elgin Charles, stylist to the stars, salon in Beverly Hills.

By 2009, Verlyn opened her own private studio call Verlyn Hair Designs in Beverly Hills.  Verlyn private hair studio attracts a roster of celebrity clients, Business executives, as well as the everyday folks. Verlyn specialty is doing Hair Extensions along with color, relaxers, hair cuts and styling.
